Disagree. Very very experienced players like myself vanquish "the bigger" areas in as little as 30-40 minutes as it is (with absolutely NO consumables, btw. In which case if they were used you could shave off at least 10 minutes from that time).

Tbh to say Legendary Vanquisher takes 3 weeks to do (if you mildly dedicate yourself to it) is quite untrue. It should take way less.

My GWAMM is a Warrior. Alot of vanquishing I took advantage of the Ursan skill before it was nerfed so Prophecies was a piece of cake (except Rotscale, that dragon handed me my ass a couple of time haha). I always H/H it except a couple of areas, where we did a guild thing for it (mainly continous vanquishing areas). Carto titles I had a hard time. I did not at the time now anything about Texmod so I did it the old fashion way and spent a good month or two searching areas in Tyria just for 0.3%. For your very first GWAMM it is major grinding to get certain titles. Now that certain titles are accounted based I am finding it easier to finish my second one (MONK). Titles I am still working on right now are my Kurz title (Luxon is maxed), Unlucky (almost done), and on my last tier for treasure hunter and wisdom. Alcohol title for my MONK I just work on while I wait for a JQ match hehehe. ................................... ANET PLEASE MAKE ALCOHOL TITLE ACCOUNT BASED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

Working on my necro (will have 26 max soon)

But I don't really see the point of the thread, titles are pretty easy to get no matter what profession you are.
Everything in HM is easy enough to H/H, except for maybe some dungeons in EotN, which are easy to get a run for

The only time professions truly matter in this game is the Elite missions, and farming. Well, and PvP of course.

I doubt there is someone who got GWAMM in one month. But if is true, that person has bigger problems than the one with 6 GWAMMs.

And hell... 6 GWAMMS? After 2 GWAMMs you should get bored in 5 minutes no matter what you will do(vanquishing, missions etc).

Not everyone lacks the motivation to do what you cannot. Keep in mind there are people out there who are better than the next player and, that chain increases quite adequently. I think that is it ludicrous that you said "and I stopped reading" and then subsequently denounced that such a feat is uncanny.

This is the exact thing that I was refering to when I say that people are closed-minded and easily usurped by things they cannot do.

Meh... Just my $.02 cents on the matter.

On-topic: I am considering on getting r6 KoaBD on a mesmer. Not sure if I want to invest the work but I definately want one more before I decide to receed and go back to my felicitous power selling.

You are right , this only shows answers like :
- I/he/she can do it because its better than you
- You dont believe that because you cant do it
- You are unskilled and short minded if you think i/he/she didnt make it.

well, my point seems to be falling on deaf ears.

to say the vanqs should take half the time, then say you could do it less time, still means your average time per day vanqing or doesnt change... 7hrs a day... nice

Working on GWAMM with my mesmer. I didn't start title hunting until after the Ursan nerf, so I've been abusing the hell out of Discordway for vanquishing and missions.

This is where you sound stupid. The only difference is you are taking a 100-150 hour task and doing it in huge chunks of time while most people are doing it 2-4 hours a day instead of 12-16 hours a day. That doesn't equate to more skill.

Working on my Ranger. Been at 29/30 for a while, trying to garner the energy to get the last million luxon faction to max.

At first I actually thought you were going to stop commenting on the matter.

Contradictions ftl...

Btw. You made no sense in your returning post. Doing vanqs in less time != no changes in how fast you obtain the title. Please make sense. You basicly said "doing it faster does not mean you get it done faster".

I think that deserves a "Lolwut?"

On-topic: Earlier there was a guy who said Dervishes are rare to see with r6 KoaBD. I somewhat have to agree with that. The majority of r6 KoaBD are obtained on warriors.

My first GWAMM is a warrior - used to think he was leet running around with a +5 energy sword so he customised it. Now he stares at it and mumbles about the current value of R8 +5E zodiac swords and wonders at what a noob he was.

My 2nd GWAMM is a ranger - VQing is so easy with BHA and ebon sin. Once dazed, the caster hardly ever gets spells off against the sin rapid attack.

My 3rd GWAMM - isn't complete yet, but will soon be my para.

How the hell do you do that? I find myself taking 1hr because I have to run all over the place in a zone because there isn't any good way to circle it.

Anyways, my warrior is who I'm going for, I've been doing it since Factions, I'm hoping to have it by 2011. Guild Wars is just by far too boring for me to dedicate much time to playing it, over chatting in town. I try to get 1 vanquish done per week though. I'm 14 titles away currently, not doing missions cause I hate those. So I probably wont' finish for a long time.

My ritualist has 9 max titles and just 3 weeks ago I stopped playing him.
I made a new assassin so if anyone will get God, my assassin will. Well at least I think that way this month. Catch next month's instalment of "upier changes his mind on who he is going to GWAMM"!

Which means I am at 1 max title.

But obviously this data is only from the people that entered their information in the database.
No problem, yeah I agree it only shows a small portion of the people who have attained the title, but also gives a general overview. From the numbers you could pretty much tell that Dervishes aren't going to be in the top 3 if you were looking at everyone in the entire game.

/facepalm

either a) you cant read, or b) your head is so far up your own ass you have trouble digesting the words on the screen in front of you.

if you do the vanqs in half the time, but also cut down the time you allow yourself to do the vanqs in half, ie. 3 weeks down to 1.5 weeks your average game play per day wont change.

21 days in 3 weeks, 121 vanqs covering all 3 basic continents... so, say if the average player who isnt as elite as you are takes 1hr per vanquish.

121/21 = 5.7... so your doing 5.7 hours per day of pure vanquishes,

now for someone like you who has said it would take you around 30 mins per vanquish, but, it shouldnt take you 3 weeks, say you can do it 10 days, thats just under half the time a 'normy' would take to do it

121/10 = 12.1... thats 12.1 hours per day if they take you an hour... oh, but your an experienced player, so we chop that in half for 30 mins a vanq... so

12.1/2 = 6.05, so you have to spend roughly the same amount of time per day doing the vanquishes...

so my point still stands, if you can do all the vanquishes in 1.5 weeks or 3, spending 6.5 hrs every day solid doing vanquishes, is having too much time on your hands...

I don't have a GWAMM, or any characters with any KOABD rank, simply because I lack the attention span to grind titles.

My main character, who is the only one with any maxed titles, is my Dervish, though.
